Vanson jackets are made in the USA with the exception of a couple of Vanson textile jackets. USA quality craftsmanship is reflected in the price.
About 80% of Vanson leathers products are Special Order. Special Orders take 6 to eight weeks to complete. If you can not wait that long, call us at 800-506-2641 to see if you are lucky and we can find one in inventory. In some cases the waiting period is reduced if the product is in production and has not been allocated to a buyer.
Bikers Store carries images of many Vanson leathers products that are discontinued by Vanson and no longer in production. Vanson still keeps the patterns for these products and they can be Special Ordered through us. By being able to wait you will be rewarded by a rare Vanson leathers product.
Vanson horsehide jackets take up to six months to deliver on Special Order since horsehides for jackets are available only through a special process that is driven by horsehide footwear demand. Up to four of these six moths are taken up by waiting for the right hide to become available. Vanson horsehide jackets must be prepaid but, you may cancel the order at any time as long as work on your jacket has not yet started.
